I can see you have a number of posts concerning the Sky message "There Is A Technical Fault With This Channel" and I read them with nothing really shedding light on the issue we have … standard solutions seem to be switch it off and on again or it only happens for a short wile after returning from standby mode.

There is no joy being brought to my inbox. At least none that I can see until you fix the problem. I can log into my sky account on the Web but when I click on email is says there is a problem with your account, ring this number. When you ring it it says call between 8am to 8pm Monday to Friday. Wait four minutes, then reconnect your TV and any other devices and switch them back on. Press the sky button on your remote to switch your box back on. If the System Reset didn't work, you'll need to book an engineer appointment, as there may be a problem with your Sky box.
